When is SalaryBox the better fit?
SalaryBox covers a lot that HaazriPro does not, and some businesses need exactly that:
- A full HR suite. Leave management, rosters, onboarding, documents, expense claims and training, according to its home page.
- Field staff. Geofence control, and live location tracking as a paid add-on (₹100 per user per month on its pricing page), suit sales and service teams on the move.
- Statutory payroll in the same tool. Its Business plan lists automated payroll and compliances. HaazriPro leaves PF, ESI and TDS filing to your CA or payroll provider.
- Staff self-service. SalaryBox lets staff request leave and check balances themselves. HaazriPro has no staff app; supervisors and owners use it.
When is HaazriPro the better fit?
- Your staff work at clients' premises. Staff are assigned to client sites, and the supervisor at each site marks only their own people.
- Your problem is wrong-person marking. Similar names on a list cause pay disputes. HaazriPro shows a face photo for every person and never asks the supervisor to pick a name.
- You don't want biometric data. HaazriPro does not scan faces or fingerprints. It keeps an ordinary photo of each staff member.
- You bill clients by staff-days. The same attendance becomes a bill for each site at month end.
- You have many staff. A flat ₹499 a month for up to 500 staff does not grow with headcount.
- Sites have weak network. Marking works fully offline on a basic Android phone and syncs later.
What does a supervisor's day look like in HaazriPro?
At the start of the shift the supervisor opens the app and picks the site. The screen shows a grid of face photos for the staff assigned to that site and shift. One tap marks a person present; a long list of names never appears. Late arrivals, half-days, leave, overtime and transfers to another site each have their own status and colour, shown as a ring on the photo, so the supervisor can see at a glance who is still unmarked. If the site has no network, the marks are saved on the phone and sent when a signal returns. The supervisor does not wait for anything to load.
In the office, the owner sees every site's attendance as it syncs, including when each mark was made, so a day filled in late stands out. At month end the salary sheet (days, overtime and advances to net payable) and each site's bill are ready to check and share on WhatsApp as PDFs, without retyping a register.
Does HaazriPro track staff location?
No. HaazriPro records attendance at the site the staff member is assigned to, marked by the supervisor who is there. It does not use GPS, geofencing or live location. If you need to follow field staff as they move between customers during the day, a location-based app such as SalaryBox is built for that. For staff posted at one client site for the whole shift, a supervisor's mark has the advantage that a person who saw them confirmed who was on duty.
How do the prices compare for a typical agency?
Take an agency with 100 staff.
